Imports Of Cotton Fell

Vietnam (2011) imported $2 billion 150 million from mainland China in September.

Compared with the same period last year, it dropped by 0.94% compared with the same period last year, but it grew by 30.47% compared with the same period last year. Vietnam's total imports of 17 billion 370 million dollars from the mainland in the first 9 months of this year increased by 22.65% compared with the same period last year, accounting for 22.47% of the total imports of Vietnam in the 9 months before the year of August.


Machinery and related components are Vietnam's main products imported from mainland China. Vietnam imported 5.93% US $457 million 780 thousand mechanical equipment and related components from mainland China in September this year, down 5.93% from August of that year. Vietnam accumulated 3 billion 760 million US dollars in machinery imports from mainland China in the first 9 months of this year.

And related components increased by 17.69% over the same period last year.


Most of the products imported from mainland China in September this year were lower than those in August of the same year. Most of them fell to cotton (-69.5%) and pport vehicles (-61.47%). However, tobacco and confectionery biscuits and cereal products rose by 513% and 110% respectively compared with August of the same year.


Over the first 9 months of this year, most of the goods grew, compared with the same period last year, with cotton growing up to 477%, precious stones and precious metals (111.3%), aquatic products (102%) and fertilizers (97.3%).

Plasticity

Raw materials (71.3%) and so on, while some of the goods were down compared with the same period last year, most of which were tobacco (-59.99%).
