Guizhou Ethnic Costumes Exhibition Meets The Public

　　“银妆霓裳——贵州少数民族服饰精品展”于4月15日至5月13日在贵州市博物馆与市民见面。据了解，此次共展出40多套少数民族服饰。

The staff of the National Museum of Qiandongnan Miao and Dong Autonomous Prefecture from Guizhou are strained in the city museum.

"This dress includes headgear, collar, collar, embroidery, and so on. Even top craftsmen need a year to make it, and the whole set is about 10 kilograms."

Pan Xiaoyun, deputy director of the National Museum of Qiandongnan Miao and Dong Autonomous Prefecture, told reporters.

It is reported that in ethnic minority families, daughter's wedding dress is an important part of dowry, and is prepared by mother and daughter.

Since the design and embroidery of wedding dresses are all hand-made, many families have been preparing for dowry since the birth of their daughters.
